Music education is a valuable part of the instruction students receive at VCA. Singing is a regular part of Bible class and chapel services as well as the elementary Christmas and American Heritage Day programs.
Instrumental instruction begins with third graders learning to play the recorder. Band is an elective in grades 4-12.
Band, junior high choir, and senior high choir are electives. Students learn a variety of styles of music and perform in two concerts per year, as well as in the Golden State Association of Christian Schools (GSACS) Academic and Fine Arts Competition.
