ADMISSIONS

We believe that few things in life are as vitally important as your child’s education. You as a parent realize this, and we at Valley Christian Academy share your concern. That is why VCA was established as an educational ministry of First Baptist Church in 1967. Our goal is to educate students who will become mature Christian young people, whose character and conduct will reflect Christ-likeness and bring glory to God in an atmosphere of academic excellence. This educational process impacts the student in all areas of life: spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. Ideally, the home, the school, and the church should all work together to train children “in the way they should go.”

Valley Christian Academy accepts students without regard to race, color, and national or ethnic origin but on the basis of former scholastic records, discipline records, a willingness to accept the policies, procedures and Christ-centered approach to education outlined in the parent/student handbook, and an entrance interview. A student or family who does not cooperate or agree with the purpose and program of Valley Christian Academy will not be admitted or allowed to remain in school.

Enrollment is not finalized until the following steps have been completed:

Completion of all application forms.

Submission of all necessary records, including transcript, school records, physical examination    form, immunization records, and photocopy of student’s birth certificate.

Completion of any necessary testing.

Personal interview with the administration, student, and parents or guardians

Payment of appropriate fees.
